Ways to Make a Difference
Every action counts. Choose the way that fits your schedule, skills, and passion.
Know Your Rights as a Petition Collector
You have the right to collect petition signatures in public spaces, including sidewalks, parks, and public plazas.
Private property owners (malls, stores) may ask you to leave — always comply and move to a public area.
You do not need to identify yourself to police unless you are being detained.
Signers must be registered Florida voters — you can verify registration at dos.fl.gov.
Each completed petition form must be submitted to the county Supervisor of Elections within 30 days of collection.
You may collect signatures in any county — you are not limited to your own county of residence.
Florida Statute 100.361 protects citizens' right to participate in the recall and petition process.
If you are harassed or threatened while collecting signatures, document the incident and contact us immediately.
